Terry Turchie, former Deputy Assistant Director at the FBI on Tucker Carlson’s show:
“Quite honestly the electorate in some places is
putting more and more progressive and self described socialists in positions and, uh,
ironically, years ago when I first got into the FBI
one of the missions of the FBI in its counter-intelligence efforts was to try and keep these people out of government.
Why?
Because we would end up with massive disfunction and massive disinformation and massive misinformation.”
The FBI (and Ken Starr) leaked like a sieve during the hunt for Bill Clinton.
And again during the hunt for Hillary Clinton.
And generally it has targeted progressive causes.
Occupy Wall Street gets targeted, but Wall Street does not.
Now we know why. The FBI is awash with right wingers. (duh)

I have no doubt that FBI is still extreme right wing.
Rumor: One of the reasons Comey trashed Hillary was that he wanted to pre-empt the NY FBI office who HATED Hillary and were going to leak (fabricated?) shit about Hillary.
Evidence indicates that the ghost of J E Hoover, famous for collecting dirt on everyone, but esp anti-war dissients, nuns, blacks, andybody anti-establishment, still haunts and guides the current FBI "ethics"
America is fucked and unfuckable.
