Like you, I used to own sub-standard audio products. Often equating $ or a name with quality. But I was never happy with the sounds I was getting. Well...I had some kick ass JBSs...something must be wrong with my hearing. Wound up connecting with a doctor who immediately made everything right. Got me tuned in to what music is supposed to sound like. What the artists wanted you to hear. His name? Dr. Dre. Get yourself some Beats son. Even the lowest price Beats will be a huge upgrade if those ear horns you’re using.

:lmao I had Samsung Level overs before they got canceled and Skullcandy Crushers. Gotta say the level overs were the best headphones I ever owned. Damn shame they got canceled.
Also I had wired beats headphones before and after apple, young me made a huge mistake them things sucked ass.

We had a white elephant Christmas with the fam a few years ago and I unwrapped a pair of Levels. Of course I acted thrilled to get them. I ended up trading them for a gift certificate to Wendy’s and had to act like I was doing it for my kid.
Potentially awkward situation avoided. Later I apologized to my cousin who ended up with the Levels and gave him the gift certificate back.

I had the powerbeats 2 and I currently have Samsung Level U's for working out and again there's no comparison. With beats you're just paying for the name, luckily I bought those powerbeats on black Friday a few years ago and saved $120, they're only worth $50 tops, tbh.

I have the Airpods

Not the best sound but the W1 pairing is good.
I also like how media stops playing when you remove one of the earbuds.
Snd its case gives more charge
