What a meltdown, 8 point lead vanished in just a little over a minute. I thought we had that game in our bag unfortunately a couple of errors which resulted to three pointers cost the SAS that game.huhuhu props to the veterans Chandler and Brewer for playing good defense.

I hope they could bounce back against pelicans. I still believe.. GO SPURS GO:ihit

Being able to cover the corner 3 is ironically an issue with us. Especially in transition. I remember we gave one up to Kyle Kuzma against the Lakers that sent the game into overtime when he was literally the only Laker who had hit a 3 in that game. Bryn Forbes has absolutely no defensive awareness in those situations and the Spurs also have no basic mindset of stopping the ball in translation. It's a real weakness that I expect to go away next year when we have Murray and White covering our perimeter. And if Lonnie ever wants to play, learning how to properly defend transition offense will definitely get home playing time and earn Pops trust.

Knew it was a loss after one of our closers Bertans sat out. This team needs all 9 of its rotation players to win games.

Is he injured or just a routine rest for their players? I hope they could gather some momentum before the all star break.

Team played well but choked in the end.

Chalk this up to a learning experience.

These guys seem to play team ball almost to a fault. If one guy, any guy is out, done for. They’ve sucked when Gay, Bertans, and Belli have missed time all on separate occasions. I feel like even Dante Cunningham could miss a game and our guys would lose :rolleyes

Not sure whats worse. The loss or Pop's nonchalant acceptance/response to it. Where's the passion? Rudy should have been railed for his awful 4 point fouls. He's not a fucking rookie. That's not James Harden he's defending. That was JJ Reddick and some no-name scrub. You don't foul jump shooters, much less 3 point shooters. Bullshit. We're past the half-way point, that shit is tired.

I laugh at you guys who think Pop should throw the podium across the room, or sit there and cry or throw people under the bus. Grown men playing a game who are professional. The way you emos take a loss I could only imagine your pressers after the games.

This is a classic Spurs loss. It's been happening for years. It's not cool, but it's just one L in RS.

Spurs lost by 2 in the road vs a 32-17 team, 21-5 at home. They didn't perform well in the clutch but played an OK game. Nothing to worry about.

Exactly, even in our best years we had a couple of loses like this one, obviously we are going to get a few more.
This loses teach something, and this is a team under construction.

That JJ Reddick one looks a bit cuestionable. Hard to know now will all the falling back from jump shooters to get the extra shot.
