A limp is normal for an ankle injury and of course he will have medical staff with him since it's important ankle injuries receive immediate treatment. I had a grade 3 ankle injury a month and half ago from playing ball. It took 6 weeks to heal and now the pain is completely gone. As long as the ankle is not broken Rudy will be fine.

I realize they were severely undermanned... but White really defended Holiday well. He ultimately didn't let him get on a roll and begin to dominate. Everyone's getting excited about LW (including me) but Whit just keeps impressing me. He missed some three's and shots but the guy is just steady. It even looks as if Gay is warming up to the guy. I'd love to see a White, Walker and DeRozen back-court along with Bertans and Aldridge. The kid is impressive. Eventually, some of our overachievers will fetch us something good via trade.

Watching this game now.. AD, Mirotic and Randle are out. Why are we saying AD is a fake superstar again? I've seen some posts about it but it's hard to blame him for an injured team.

They also have a couple of former high picks that haven't played to their potential.

On a separate note, is it now allowed for offensive players to take 2 steps before dribbling? Kids getting 2 steps to get away from the defense in transition before having to dribble.

I will agree with you for the most part, however, let's not act like they've never made a mistake. The Spurs lack athletic players who can create their own shot. The lack a wing defender who can stay in front of their man. To me Walker can be both those things. I'm not saying he is a solution to those two issues, but there's a fair possiblity that he is. How will we know though if he doesn't get more burn on the court with the San Antonio Spurs vs the Austin Spurs?

Fair enough. But to be perfectly clear, I've seen him play in person in both Austin and with the big boys. In both locations, he was constantly playing poor defense. I watched his every move and I even posted about it when he got some run in the Raptors game and a few posters here found it funny I was judging a guys defense in garbage time. He routinely lost his man. He was horrible on pick and roll defense. I get that was his first time in the show and likely a bit star struck but I've seen some of the same habits from him with the Austin Spurs. And if we know anything about Pop, it's that defense gets you playing time first and foremost, especially when you're young.

I only post all of the above to highlight that this jives completely with Pop's comments yesterday about 'seeing a lot that he does like, and a lot that he doesn't, and that he has a lot to learn.'

And if we know Pop, he's going to demand better D be played before he gives him serious minutes.
