Rudy said X-rays taken after the game of the left ankle he rolled in the 4Q were negative. "It's nothing. Just turned my ankle," said Gay, who said he will play Sunday against the Wizards. #Spurs (https://mobile.twitter.com/hashtag/Spurs?src=hashtag_click)

Bet Pop holds him out though probably the best thing to do

Probably no Gay and DeRozan.
Could see; White, Forbes, LWIV, Aldridge, Gasol
Mills, Beli, Bertans?, and Poeltl being the rotation.

Do we think Rudy is on the team next year? Tough call for me.

Yes, only if he doesn't get a raise.

He has to convince Pop that he is ready to, so who knows.

Gay can not be trusted. Needs to at the end of the season.

Yeah the will sign him if he wants a long term deal vs front loaded short deal. Rudy has already said he is a Spurs for life I think he knows he needs to manage his health and the best team to do that is the Spurs.

Pretty sure Gay got hurt during the middle of his third quarter explosion last night. After being subbed out, it looked like they were either taping or retaping his ankle. Unfortunately, he looked pretty damn slow in the fourth.

I would say rest him until after the All-Star break but the Spurs would lose any chance of beating the Jazz if Gay doesn't play.

Not even confident they can beat Memphis at this point tbh.

Spurs have to many players that are injury prone.

The best case scenario for them is to end up 6th or 7th and win at least the 1st round.

What's wrong with that?

Road-UnWarriors Spurs, from 5-8 seed positions, are out in the first round

Again would be nice to have another SF for games that White/Gay can't play.

Tbh he’s like the most dominant in his position. The guy just simply can score over anybody. Spurs need him. Get well Rudy!

Everybody is out if playing Dubs. I see no shame in a transition year at seed 7 or 8. We have no need for a high pick, we already have too many youngsters. With Murray back, White more mature, maybe DDR shipped somewhere in exchange for whatever professional player with testicles we can find, next year will be fun. Enjoy another year in the playoffs, the streak is still open

How can we be so fucking banged up an short in height, but yet the FO still chooses to sign no one?

Because the Spurs play the wrong type of position-less basketball.

Or bring in Ben Moore instead of Drew Eubanks when need depth at the SF spot.
