Hosting the 21-28 Wizards tonight, who’ve won 3 of their last 4. Rudy is listed as QUESTIONABLE. Everyone else is expected to play. Let’s get it.

hopefully we don't get cucked by Ariza, Green, and Thomas Bryant

their role players have been balling lately tbh

luckily they have no bench so we should still win by 10+

We seem to always lose against bad eastern conference teams, so I just hope we carve out a win. The Wizards play better without John Wall

Hmmm... can this team do well, if not better without DD10? Perhaps if he gets some rest and heals up, maybe he will regain his form and give this team the spark it needs. I say, let him rest up during this home stand so he can be energized and good to go for the RRT. It looks like they can pretty much manage alright without him in the lineup, at least for now. But when he's hitting on all 8 cylinders, then this team can be dangerous! GSG!!!

Sure, 47 wins season/first round exit winning ball.

Will say this though: he seems to be putting a lot more effort on trying to get to the paint instead of settling for soft fadeaways. If he keeps this up, the Spurs might be able to win a playoffs series this year.

This guy is a RFA next year. Paid $3.1m. Same can be said about Thomas Bryant.

With Washington's cap situation, it seems more than good bet that neither of them will be back.

Sure, 47 wins season/first round exit winning ball.

Will say this though: he seems to be putting a lot more effort on trying to get to the paint instead of settling for soft fadeaways. If he keeps this up, the Spurs might be able to win a playoffs series this year.
Him taking to the rim allows opens up our 3 pointers. In and out. I think that’s winning basketball

A great variety

He or Pop convinced him he was a game-changer, and he has a lot more confidence now, playing looser

I really don't know what has happened this year to infuse Davis with confidence. But he certainly is playing with far more - and not just confidence, but determination, tenacity, grit. Hopefully he will continue to blossom and remain a rotation player for us for many years.

That would be the case if he were a good willing passer off the low block, but he isn't.

With that said, that's another area where he seems to have made some improvements.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the way Aldridge has been playing. He probably has been playing the best ball of his career lately. I have no complaints about him or his effort. He's doing as good as he can.

But no matter how much some of you want to argue the point, a team will never be a real contender with him as the focal point of an offense. Sorry but that is the truth. Is like Lowe said: Aldridge is a high floor, low ceiling type of player. You can be a playoffs team with him as your number one option, you will never be a serious contender.

Walker with 4 minutes, 1 block. I missed the game but saw highlights. It seems that he was in the 2nd half then hell broke loose? His defense was not up to par yet? Can’t wait for the grades Timvp

Damn, that's just wrong. The best 3pt shooter on the league's best 3pt shooting team, is stonewalled. Yeah that's ridiculous. I hope something gives with this.

Yep. A gold mine here! Satoransky numbers show that he improves every year, his 3 point percentages are also elite.

Best way to look at it, tbh. Had this been a decade ago, I think an Aldridge-led team would have had a higher ceiling when there were still lots of bigs in the league. Aldridge is a very solid #2 on a contender today.

Completely agree. I still think he has some cache for a trade with New Orleans. After all, on-court effectiveness is of paramount importance, but putting butts in seats is also the name of the game. LMA has much more ability and cache than anything the Pels are likely to get from another team. Lonzo ain't filling any arenas. Or Ingram. Or Kuzma.

that is true, but you can be a contender when he's your 2nd option, which was the original case when he came here

Duuhhhh how many bigs in today's NBA could be the offensive focal point of a serious contender?

So your whole point isn't about Aldridge but about t:crydays's NBA?

I don't believe anyone has claimed Aldridge could lead a team to a championship, but he absolutely can be a co-star or 2nd best player on a championship team in a universe where Warriors don't exist.

It's a bit of both. He definitely isn't a 1st option for today's NBA, but I'm also not sure he has what it takes to be a championship contending 1st option in the 90's.

The problem whit that logic is that Aldridge never showed he can be a reliable option when je isn't getting 1st option touches. He disengages amd just goes through the motions playing insipid basketball.

Joel, Jokic and Giannis, all can be champions with Dray, Klay and Iguodala as support, add one of Durant or Curry is they would win easily

Joel, Jokic

I'd wait for them to win more than 1 playoff series between them to claim this.

Giannis

Not really a big in that sense - he's a perimeter player/slasher.

No way either of them with Dray, Klay and Iggy beats the current Warriors.

Sure, because there is a difference between doing it here to doing it on the Club or Political forum. :lol

Also, you do it here too, tbh. Just go find that Aldridge thread and look for all those times where you get into arguments and you feel the need to have the last word because, if you don't, you feel like you lose the argument, so you keep repeating the same things over and over again. :lol

I'm sure they have the talent to do it, but anyway, this is your opinion and I can respect (these guys are real superstars wise impact)

Not really a big in that sense - he's a perimeter player/slasher.

in fact, in Milwaukee, Brook plays more like a spot shooter in most of the offensive plays and Giannis is the guy who fights for rebounds and finishes the plays inside, so even though he is not a positional center, he practically plays as one in the Bucks system.

No way either of them with Dray, Klay and Iggy beats the current Warriors.
sure (although this message was more about gsw core pre Durant), but if you put one of the Curry or Durant in the team you have a real challenge for gsw
