Depression isn't like an on and off switch. For those afflicted with it, it stays with you for an indeterminate amount of time, and for many, it stays with them forever. Medication like Prozac, Zoloft, and Paxil treats it but doesn't necessarily eliminate it. It's not a thing to talk shit about, tbh.
