So, when reality hits all of us that PATFO will stand pat yet again, what should our starting lineup and rotation be moving forward?

Starters:
LMA
Bertans
Gay
DeRozan
White

Bench rotation:
Belinelli
Mills
Forbes
Poetl
Gasol
Walker
Cunningham
Pon

Very unlikely, tbh.

I know it’s so disappointing, I can’t see the spurs trading anybody on the team, they’re so damn loyal. Only thing I think could happen is the spurs waive Quincy if somebody that gets bought out is better

Meh... Spurs ain't winning a championship this year, there's no trade they could make that would put them at championship level caliber, and their young starting PG is out for the year with an injury. It kind of makes sense to me to wait and see.

It's shocking PATFO even pulled off that midseason trade that got us Nazr Mohammed in '05, tbh. So long ago. Too bad we don't take chances like that anymore. That being said, my main point of this thread is to see if PATFO will at least settle on a starting lineup moving forward and will finally think about starting Bertans and benching Forbes.

This. I’m all for making logical trades that make your team better, but the Spurs weren’t going to sell the farm for Porzingis A.) Coming off a major knee injury, & B.) When he’s made it clear he’s becoming an UFA next Summer.

Zero chance Spurs would’ve traded their young assets with that much risk involved, especially when we don’t really make big trades in the first place. We’re not ringing this year anyways, so we’re much more likely to sign a player who is bought out and ride into the playoffs with who we have, which I’m fine with tbh.

The flipside is death, taxes and the Spurs making the playoffs.

I'll take one with the other.

I'm good on getting a train ran on in the first round for third straight time. PATFO fluffers enjoy it, but the rest of us don't.

What move was out there that you think would've made the Spurs better?

Who said I wanted to get better? I'm willing to blow this whole shit up and trade all the old fucks for picks, Celtics style.

If you think we're winning shit with Aldridge and DeRozan, I got a border wall to sell ya :lol

I forgot we traded our best defensive wing of ALL-TIME Bowen (FUCK YOU, Kawhi) for Jefferson...but yeah, that was in the offseason not during the regular season.

I am wrong I guess. For some reason I remembered him as mid season acquisition. Mandela Affect perhaps

Cutting SJax was addition by subtraction in 2013. I guess the acquisition there was "minutes for better players".

Well it's obvious they are going to ride this horse to the finish line unless they make a surprise trade. Still if they don't make the playoffs the finger should not be pointed at this roster if very little is being done to improve it. I just hope they are not obsessed with that playoffs streak because in many ways it's hurting this team more than helping it if you can't even get out of the 1st round.

I just hope they did make an offer for Kristaps even if Dallas bested it.

Poop too busy making sure other GM's don't trade with the Lakers to make trades on his own team :lol

No, it wasn't. Especially since he was cut in April.

This one has probably been beaten to death, but 6 wouldn't have happened if we had Jackson on the bench instead of that useless scrub ChooChoo, not only for his clutch shooting, but to give Leonard some breaks on defense against LeBitch.

Hopefully we can get Vucevic or Gordon from the Magic. They are 11th in the shithouse East but not too far from the 8th seed. I think they'd rather hit the lottery than scrape into the playoffs only to get knocked out in round 1. Gordon is still only 23, he could have quite a career in SA. Vucevic is 28 but hed be a damn good fit here. Hope the front office do something.
