Can the spurs add Teodosic to their roster? Let him play alongside Gasol or Poeltl, Marco and latvian laser.

no, he's garbage

he'd be the worst defender we've had in a long time. and that includes mills, forbes, tony, marco

Teodosic is one of the few players the Spurs can afford. People here said Ricky Rubio was garbage, too. He's far from a top-tier PG, but he would be the only PG on the roster. Nothing is going to move the needle, but he might make the offense a little more palatable to watch.

Pop is committed to the pair of midged SG's, so I doubt we'll see any announcements.

Is he that scrub who used to be in the Grizzlies and only goes off against us?

He would be kind of more of the same. A good offensive player but an awful defensive one. I wouldn't be against it just as depth insurance. Much better than having to play guys like Cunningham or Pondexter.

You don't add an old, poor defensive guard to a poor defensive team with too many guards and a coach that has a propensity for overplaying over-the-hill PGs.

I'm just wondering if adding him as PG and playing him with other europeans would bring back the ball movement style of play from the spurs. but he is a liability in defense though.

Offensively he is one of the best PG, hands down. He almost singlehandedly took the Clips to the PO last year, he played two months like an all-nba. Among the best passers in the league.

Everything else is so bad he is unplayable.
Came to the NBA ten years too late and then broke the foot too. He can't guard anybody, literally anybody can go past him sleepwalking.
And not the best of attitudes if things don't go his way (he's Serb...)

He could come to develop guards, that would be great. Not to play though.

Yer very good pg. can run an Off’ big time, but Pop & Co passed on him previously when we could of had him so I guess the only time he comes to San Antonesta will be as a tourist tbh.

That's a definition of Bryn Frobes's D tbh
And Marco's
And Demar's most nights

So it'll be just more of the same on D

You didn't see him last year with the Clips.... If you compare Ds, Marco is Paul George

Just can't imagine worse D than Forbes. But I believe he's bad.
I saw him a couple of times live back when he played for CSKA Moscow in Europe, and he was lazy and moody

That's true,in Euroleague,Teodosic's defense was lazy and moody.

In the NBA,Teodosic's defense is non existant whatever his mood may be at any given night.

Also the schedule is so heavy for an unathletic 31 year old white Euro that his plantar fasciitis would flare up every month.

Teodosic from a skills standpoint and BBIQ is an amazing PG,but trying to make the NBA jump at age 30 was wrong and he knows it,and that's why he wants to go back to Europe and is not looking for an NBA contract.

Legit points.
So no mid-season signings for the playoffs I guess :fishing

Signing Teodosic wouldn't move the playoff needle one bit. His playmaking might make the offense a little more palatable to watch. And maybe...maybe...fewer turnovers would result in fewer gimme points on the other end of the floor.

I think it would be interesting just to see what the offense would look like with an actual PG. But I don't think Pop is even curious.

He'd probably be pretty damn good here, but defense would be an issue. But he can run the offense for sure

There are two sides of the floor. Maaaaaybe being good on one end while being unplayable on one when we already have half a roster of players like that is not "pretty damn good". Especially when you consider that Poop would almost certainly play him way too much.

"Its official: Miloš #Teodosić (https://twitter.com/hashtag/Teodosi%C4%87?src=hash) has decided not to sign with any organization! He will play next two games for Serbian NT and afterwards he will have some rest until summer."
