White with 17/6/6 and 5 BLOCKS on 8/10 shooting.

White had a steal on the board, and they took it off for some reason. He had an AST to Aldridge (for a 3P) that he didn't get credit for. I know stats don't matter, but they've shorted him.

Might be early, but we may be better off next year with Murray as the 2 guard and White as the 1.

I dunno, on D it doesn't matter, but on offense I have to see how far Murray has come with the ball.

Trae Young must had been blocked like 10 times tonight.

he's a very predictable player at this stage of his career. His size makes him a very easy target from the weak side and he doesn't stop and shoot, he always drives and throws a floater, or shoots a triple off the block. You can leave him the paint wide open and just recover once he commits to driving. He may figure it out later in his career, but for now he's an easy target if gameplanned.

I think it's pretty clear the team needs to be built around White and LMA next season. You add young talent in DJ, Poetl and Walker to the mix and see what you have. Keep Gay, Marco and Bertrans on the cheap. Mills, Forbes and Demar should be moved. Perhaps acquire a 3 using Demar and your multiple 1st round picks.

The best thing for me personally is that it's been fun to watch him play and grow. There hasn't been much else fun to watch about this team for the last couple of years. I've been looking forward to seeing how White is going to play each night. I'd still rather see them get a lottery pick. But if they just have to squeak into the playoffs, at least he is giving us something to look forward to next season.

White is easily the 2nd best player on the team (probably 1st if he got more freedom and didn't have to defer so much) but gets treated like he's on the same tier as Fatty, Forbes, Beli.......

White's scoring is deceiving too. He was injured to start the year. He's come on like gangbusters since he got his feet under him (minus his foot issues on the rodeo trip). Let's hope it doesn't up bother him the rest of the way.

All wins since he came back. That is what this kid is gonna be. The future for are team. We have youngsters that have a lot of potential. With the guidance from Pop, yeah. Only the 14th time it's been done by anyone since 83-84, but the 6th by a Spur: D-Rob did it 4 times (including his quadruple-double) and Tim once. D-Rob did it 3 times in that 93-94 season, what a beast.

I will dial it back just a bit on the kid. I tug his junk every game. I do not see white owning it in the playoffs. He will do good but it just isn't a place for newbies. especially if we get matched up with the champs. He will struggle there. But it will be an awesome learning lesson for him. He will be hassled by DraymondGreen. I am usual very hard on the spurs, but I haven't been this excited about a player since Tony came in the league.

Always thought people were too excited about White here. Glad to say I was wrong. I hope he keeps developing. His style, defense and instincts are great. I like him better than DJ right now.
DJ annoys me a little bit with his questionable handles for a PG and his poor shooting form for being in the NBA. Hopefully they can play together and we can enjoy it.

I didn't know Eubanks could jump like that.

Not Vince Carter's night. Dude got a few crappy fouls called on him and looked clearly frustrated the game slipped from their hands in the end.

I hope Murray becomes what we all expect, that DeRozan improves a bit on defense, and that Rudy and LA stay healthy enough to say that next year we could put up a lineup of White-Murray-DeRozan-Gay-LA that is good enough to match up with any smallball lineup.
And if Walker ends up being half what many here think....

Im too lazy to read your past post history, to understand why you don't like him so.much to call him a scrub.

To even be considered as all NBA defense at such a young age is a testament. Pop's willingness to give him the keys must mean something for a scrub. right?

And lastly, stop looking at one's game as a snapshot balance sheet, static in time. Think more it of as an income statement where you can see trends of improvement.

He has shown enough to me his first few yrs. Worse case he's our defensive shutdown player, that averages 13 pts, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and leads all guards in blocks/steals.
