well there are things that come around called "safe bets" or "sure things"

usually, to get the biggest increase in vbookies, you need to bet most (preferrably all) vbookies on the bet. the safest bets of all time were the UT spread bets, and some regular season NFL and NCAA games. Those days will soon be long gone, and i predict vbookie stagnation after january.
