One of LA's best overall games in a long time tbh. Dude gets forgotten all the time with DWhite emerging and Derozan's struggles but pretty rock solid after starting off fat in October....

Derozan's best game since the W against the Raptors as well tbh....

Doesn't mean anything. The playoffs will be a different animal. no more taking teams on at home on back to backs. Spurs wouldn't beat Mil in the playoffs if they had to play them although they will beat them at home during the regular season under a favorable schedule matchup with them.

If you consider that this team at times couldn't win any games without Gay, this is still an improvement

I'm pulling for MIL to come out of the East but as long as Nephew doesn't completely quit/check out, I like how he matches up with Giannis and how the Raps matchup with the Bucks overall tbh.....

Spurs are now 26-7 at home. That's the equivalent of a 65-win team.

While our 12-22 road record is the equivalent of a 30 win team.

The three best players on the court were all MINUS. You and chinook are the dumbest posters on here citing plus minus as an individually accrued stat. STOP USING IT INCORRECTLY

This faggot is back again? I thought you had done the world a favor and killed your self.

A 9th pick should at worst be a borderline star. The way the game is played now, do you really see him approaching that level?

Thats what i would expect from 3 to 6th pick, a ninth is a solid starter. But i think we just have different views on what a pick should be.

Not only did Pau get all that money...Spurs also had to give him a tribute video with his highlights of playing on other teams

Bucks play a high variance brand of ball(2009 Magic or last year's Rockets with a different style), while the Raptors struggle to shoot, it'll probably all depend on that..

It's gonna be an interesting 7 game series but imho Giannis and Nephew will get theirs one way or the other. The player who is gonna be the barometer of who comes out on top is Marc Gasol.
He's either gonna be the former DPOY Gasol or the 34 year old brother of Pau who is one year away from becoming the clusterfuck that Pau has been for the Spurs. He's been slower than shit this year.

I don't remember a team being this good at home, and this bad on the road. It may have happened, but it's a pretty amazing difference.

Road performance is usually about the bench. Mills and Beli, in particular, have shot like shit on the road. Gay's 3P% at home is .476, and on the road it's .376 - but he usually finds other ways to contribute. But the bigger thing, I think, is that the Spurs play really bad D on the road.

Dude we were 33-8 at home and 14-27 away LAST year.

This is not a new thing. We have many role players who decide what we do as a team. When the big3 were around every court was Duncan's court.

The Spurs probably have the most back to back home games in the league. Their location in south Texas and having two other teams close to them in Dallas and Houston plays into The Spurs getting many teams on back to back at home.

Marc's impact will be minimal in a series against MIL, he was brought in to match up with Embiid in a potential series.

Agree regarding Nephew and Giannis but I think Kawhi has a really good chance of locking up and outplaying Giannis in a 7 game series. But who comes out on top should likely depend on how the B players play, guys like Lowry, Middleton, Bledsoe, Siakam, etc...

Derozan's value to the team skyrockets when he's not settling for those 18 footers. He should attack the cup regardless of how the other team is playing him tbh. Even that one footed floater in the lane is more reliable than an open perimeter jumper tbh, just needs to be decisive...

His defense hasn't been atrocious for the last few weeks either so hopefully he keeps it up, maybe it's having to cover for Patty and Beli being the worst defensive backcourt in the league but he's not that bad when he's actively playing passing lanes and doesn't have to defend somebody way quicker than him....

Great to see Demar play so well

That shot by Mills somewhere near the 3 minute mark or so was large
Beli’s Last three was big too
Shots at crucial moment

I can see Warriors in 7. That team is screwed if Durant is out for serious time. Teams would just have to worry about containing the Splash Bros. I like to see how White matches up against their backcourt defensively but unfortunately it’s gonna be cancelled out by Forbes getting too many minutes.

Poeltl is covering for everybody tbh, with him protecting the rim. It’s just a big difference when you have a 7 footer who can swat the ball

I think the backcourts will be determinative. I like Milwaukee's better than Toronto's.

Poeltl's stat sheet isn't all that, but he played great tonight. He's a tough son of a gun. Very physical and great hands. He was very important tonight as was Mills, Belinelli, Derozan, and Aldridge.

Overseas last year, and couldn't follow as closely as I usually did. That's just disgraceful.

But thanks for the rest of the lesson. Who is this Duncan person you're talking about?

Even with Bucks on B2B, they were still playing for HCA throughout.

A Top 3 win of the season when you consider Gay out and White having a terrible night..When was the last time we beat a good team without one of them being the X factor?

Last night was like 2014 playing Miami. The atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone was into the game and our guys played their asses off against the best team in the NBA. Coach Bub has done a superb job. They are gaining confidence with each game. Maybe the RRT will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Just don't blow it against Dallas. We have the home court down pretty good. We just need to learn how to win on the road.
