Thunder lost by double digits to a team that starts Delon Wright, Tyler Dorsey, Justin Holiday, Bruno Cabolco, and Jonas Valanciunas and they all combined to score 98 points against them. Pathetic effort by them.

D'Angelo Russell is so much better than anyone on the LAL roster other than LeBron it's hilarious.

Brooklyn-Portland kind of nuts down the line. Russell is sucking and the Nets are coughing up a ten point lead, have the ball with 3.5 left with a tie game. Brooklyn has some clutch players, though.

Glad I was nowhere near a sports book tonight.

What happened to Nurkic. His leg dieded?

Nurk down. Haven't seen the replay yet; they're comparing it to Shaun Livingston, Paul George, Gordon Heyward....

It turned sideways.

That sucks. I really would've liked to have seen what he could've done in the playoffs. Portland gonna get swept again....

That sucks. Hope it was a clean break with no nerve damage.

Blazers gonna cover? Maybe I would've done okay in Vegas after all.

Game was getting crazy physical, beyond reasonable, before then.

Broken tibia IMO. Probably also fibula. May be better than Livingston though since it looks like bone not knee

Nope; but I might've killed it on some over slips.

Might be tougher cos of his girth though. Livingston had the advantage of being chronically underweight; not to take anything away from him pioneering coming back from that injury.

I don't like betting on teams in Memphis, tbh. Too many equalizers in their play style.

BTW fuck, most teams fans cant complain about shit now that the Blazers are dropping like flies. OKC also, with Paul George's shoulder messed up at the worst possible time

Brutal looking; but probably clean break(s) is the potential good news.

SMH That dumb ref tripping over Nurkic's noodle leg, though.

What’s with the relatively common gruesome leg injuries in the last few years? We rarely see them previously and now this is the third in the last five or six years.

more like third in 2 years. George, Hayward and now Nurk.

One problem last night was the game was getting really chippy and physical in overtime. The refs weren't helping with a number of goofy decisions, mostly against the Nets. The Nets had lost all their big guys, so were scrapping really hard and Portland was hammering them with Nurkic to take advantage. The missed-shot scrums were pretty nasty to begin with before the injury and the refs were losing control.

No contact?
Looks like it broke in mid air after he jumped?
Can we conclude that it must have been near broken / cracked on an earlier play?

Bad break (ha) for Blazers
I never buy in to the Blazers who are the classic great regular season team ... so i dont think this is going to hamper some long playoff run because tehy were likely one and done anyways.
but dude plays physical and tbh and the current NBA game lacks toughness.
Plus he gets under Westbrook's skin (who I like) but I love the petty back and forth between Russ, Embiid, Nurkic, Morris twins etc.
etc ..League got to buddy-buddy in the modern era

speedy recovery wished for the big fella ...no BS.

But has any team been more cursed by injury than the Blazers in recent years?
not just devastating ones like Oden, Nurkic and Roy but untimely ones right before or during playoffs as well ..

Some bad juju around that team ...

Oh yeah ... Non issue!

Fast paced game now. Also the guys are longer, before guys like Oliver Miller, Big Country and Tractor Traylor had roles. Now it's all lanky skinny guys jumping around and landing on each other's ankles tbh
