I wonder if the Spurs still have the most international players of any NBA team? For a long time they did.
Too lazy to count how many internationals we have, but iirc, I heard somewhere that Mavs have 9 internationals, so maybe they have the most.

That's why Patty gets the Mils, guard plus social director. After his playing career is done, I wouldn't be surprised if Mills works for the Spurs or some other team's front office.

But its a good question though. I'm truly curious who the Spurs have in mind as the successor. They must have talked about it by now.

I really wanted it to be Mike Bud a while back but I doubt he leaves Milwaukee anytime soon. And i don't blame him.

I don't think Ettore's on deck. I think it's either lure Mike Bud back, or Ime. I can't find it now, but I remember reading something about the Spurs re-assuring Ime that he wasn't losing his spot when they hired Ettore.

Just out of curiosity, what are DeRozan, Forbes, and Gay doing in that picture? Does it add to the diversity if the team has some American black guys? Or are Brooklyn and Compton considered foreign countries?

He sure seems to be here a lot. His kids have grown up here and have gone to school here and probably have all their friends here also. I'm sure he doesn't want to just uproot them immediately after retiring

I went to the Pink concert in Paris with my girlfriend on July 3 at La Defense Arena. We were in one end and everyone kept turning around and looking at the box seats behind us. About 20 feet above me in the box seat was Tony Parker, his wife, and his brother. It was pretty cool. Tony was drinking champagne and filming the concert with his phone (Pink does a lot of aerial acrobatics). He seemed to be having a good time. My girlfriend, who is Ukrainian, had no idea who Tony was but we did manage to capture a picture or two of him. I can post them when she sends it to me on the phone (if anyone cares).

Not news to most of you who live in SA and probably occasionally encounter Spurs players But as I've never seen the Spurs live or even glimpsed a Spurs player in person, it was pretty cool for me and unexpected to see one of my all time favorites so close watching the same concert as me. Natasha didn't care about American basketball, but she liked they served champagne in the arena, and following Tony's trend, we had a few.

Any French fans happen to be at the same show?

It’s not that uncommon for player marriages to end within a few years of retirement. Bowen’s did,too, IIRC. There are stresses placed on the marriages when the couple is used to spending big chunks of time apart, and suddenly, they’re together 24/7/365.

Bump - Pop's SA mansion sold for 3.1 million on 10/15/ 2020 according to Bleacher Report. That means his San Francisco property and San Antonio property are gonzo. Been trying to sell since 2018, dropped price from 4.5 million to get it done.
