GusT15

That's why you want the Nuggets in the first round.

Cause their experienced team leader-who gave them the pre game speech-gets posterized as they lose home court advantage...and their bench reacts in awe to the poster before adjusting their enthusiasm.. Kids... :lmao

I have said the Spurs will win this series before. But I never thought they would win a road game with LMA/DeRozan shooting .35% or less and White carrying the team.

I mean, he had a great season but this Derrick's game exceded all my expectations

The dunk, his last steal...OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE.

I know these aren't playoff dunks, but these were my 2 favorite Manu Dunks. Wish they were better quality video though.

His dunk on Yao

And his dunk in overtime against the Suns when he scored his career high.

One of the reasons I thought the Spurs had a relatively good chance in this matchup virtually all season, is because of Jokic's poor stamina (and on the flip side, Aldridge's ability to handle virtually unlimited minutes when need be). For a lone star team, he needs to be able to give them around 40 mpg, without fading, in big games and he's just not capable.

If they go on to lose this series, I'd imagine it'll be a wakeup call for him like the '13 WCF was for Gasol, after Duncan ran him ragged.

This dunk is a good omen. It seems like we do well in the playoffs when we vicious dunks in the playoffs.

Manu Dunk on Bosh - 14' Championship
Cory Joseph Dunk on Ibaka - 14' Championship
Robert Horry Stretch Out Dunk over Hamilton - 05' Championship
Malik Rose Dunk on Mutombo - 03' Championship

haha, i can dream!

The thing that worked against us with CoJo was how young he was when he came out, only 19. By the time the Spurs had put all of that time in, he was still only 23, and at least one team, Toronto, was willing to throw a large-ish contract at him, in hopes of a continued development curve. I don't think he was ever going to be anything other than a bench player here, and that's probably why they didn't match.

yeh his a bench player, but he can be a starter on some teams who dont need a volume scorer, cojo is more a jack of all trades, but master of none when it comes to his skillset...

has range, can shoot, plays defense...dunno about playmaking, but as long he holds the ball and controls the pace and tempo, thats all you need from him, but at whatever price his getting paid now, isnt in the range the spurs willing to pay, but they have no problem giving mills or pau loyalty contracts for culture
