No one is discrediting his contribution, but he would be a much better player if he does not try to force the issue by taking bad shots especially when there is ample of time left on the shot clock.

I also think that his FG% could be better if the Spurs has a proper SF, in that way a smaller wing will be on DDR, giving him an easier time while shooting the ball in those iso situation

He has already improved his playmaking and defense. Now in these playoffs he needs to improve his decision making. And if he works on his 3-ball in the offseason and comes back with a decent 3-point shot (which he had in his last season as a Raptor) he will be a force.
