Does Pop seriously think he's the answer? He's a liability at both ends of the court right now.

:pop: Patty is the team captain who contributes to the diverse culture of Spurs nation

Because he is more concerned about trump then spurs

Because his coffee game is worth the 3rd highest salary on the roster

Because Popovich wont play Lonnie , until 2 minutes in the 4th and their are no other guards

Like seriously though. I'm not the prototypical Mills hater. I'm not overly bothered by him having a rotation spot or the money, etc.

It's just obvious that he is a huge negative at this juncture. I just think Pop's head is so far up his ass, tbh.

Coaches pet, and pop is a stubborn asshole

because he's the leader and has corporate knowledge. Haven't you seen him execute one of Pop's famous plays at the end of quarters where the Spurs almost never score?

Seriously though I think Pop is scared to lose the locker room if he moves Patty. The players already seem to have tuned him out

You can't pay someone 50 million to sit on the bench tbh....

We ain't paying 50 mils for a bench warmer. Should Mills be a bench warmer? Probably but he shouldn't have been given that ridicules contract at midnight...worst Spurs contract ever especially now that Gsoft is gone.

Honestly I have always liked Mills but I just hate his contact. He is still a great player to have as a spark plug to insert every once in awhile(no more then 5-10 minutes total a game)off of the bench but not a big contributor. If he was paid accordingly I wouldn't be so harsh on him but he is our 3rd highest paid player .That's an awful lot of money for a towel waver... Just think of all the other NBA players we could have at his price range and let that sink in.

You go with your best hand. Giving Mills like the entire 3rd Q when we still had a chance and he was clearly the weak link. SMH

I'll go one further and say I don't mind him being a top option at times (and I'll say he's worthy of 13 mpg min). But when you're on the road and the guy is just f'ing up everything? Pull the plug FFS.
