Never won a title
So spurs fans here wound not want them because they are not winners like Duncan and tp and spur players that won a title
I mean aj is greater then Nash in prime
Just ask spur fan
welp bringing this up is probably going to land me a ton of shit but...
You're familiar with the Robert Horry hip check on Steve Nash during game 4 of the WCF in 2007, right? If Horry didn't hip-check Nash, Boris Diaw and Amar'e Stoudemire would not have missed game 5. If the Suns didn't lose game 5, they would have taken it to a game 7 @ Phoenix. If Phoenix won, they would have played the Cavaliers in the Finals. The 2007 Cavs were one of the worst team, if not the worst team to appear in the NBA finals in recent memory. Suns win championship in 2007.

I said it then, and I will say it now, so what? It didn't happen. If Timmy doesn't get injured, we have at least two more rings. We can play the what-if game all day, but what good does that do? It was a rough series and things happened both ways. The game was more physical back then and regardless, how do you know they win game 5? That's a big if, why they didn't win all the other games those players played, if that's the case???? If you exclude game 5, the spurs still "win" the series with 3-2.

I also remember seeing game 6 of that series, and the suns were up 10 at some point in that game. So yeah, they still might have won that game even without Amar’e and company. It just so happened that the spurs executed and defender better during crunch time.

There are a lot of IFs in that statement, and you can say the same thing about the Spurs-- but the difference is the IFs surrounding the Spurs give them 6 or 7 rings and the Suns (and D'Antoni) are still looking for #1.

Nash flopped to make it seem worse than it was
Nash is the one that started the melee when he tried to make it into a Horry kill shot hip check

That original post hurt to read
Uh the premise of this thread is false. Spurs fans have appropriate respect for Nash and Malone. The hate for Nash is on par with the hate of Tony Parker. Malone was dirty and a sex pest but was a hell of a player (wouldn't have been as big a career without Stockton though).
Likewise DeRozan isn't a Nash talent, and lamarcus isn't a Malone (or is but missing his Stockton)

Nash spent 18 years in the league, played with great players like Nowitzki, Finley, Diaw and Stoudamier. No rings. Malone? 18 years with one of the best Stockton. Rings? Nope. I love TP and Manu, but they’re not really Nowitzki or Stockton. So bottom line, it’s Timmy’s skills (plus Pop coaching). That’s why he’s the greatest power forward that ever played the game.

Malone was title kryptonite. There was no way they should have lost the 98 Finals with Pippen at about 10%, but no: Warm Karl had to lose the ball and fall on his ass to hand Jordan the game-winning shot after Stockton did all he could to drag that pedophile to a title. I loved seeing his career end with him just quitting on the Finals once it became apparent the Lakers had no answer for the Pistons.
