I think I did good...he took his wife into the mountains to seek out a healer to help her, but I couldn't get any farther than that. Maybe it will be continued in Witcher 4 or I missed something.

no witcher 4 unfortunately. but that's the best ending with that quest i think. if i remember right theres like 3 different ways to end it. the worst is the barron killing himself and velen goes to complete shit
