Lauren Miranda was fired by the school district she taught for after another staff member shared a topless photo of her. Since losing her job, she has sued the school district for $3 million.

Do you think the school district was fair or unfair to fire Miranda? Is her response appropriate or excessive?

I don't know that I agree that the district wouldn't have fired a male teacher over a dick pic.

Tough call. It's a private photo, so it sucks that it got into the workplace, but I don't know how she could be expected to maintain authority over a classroom if it's public knowledge. The better approach would have been a mutual parting from that school with an assisted relocation to a different school.

I wonder if law enforcement will get involved to figure out how the minor got a pic of her..

It's a difficult argument to make that a school, given current societal norms, should treat a topless female image the same as a topless male image. It's not up to the school to decide that our prudeness towards boobies is outdated.
