When you need to decide on a hospital, clinic, lab or so forth, what drives your decision? Is it mainly cost? Location and convenience? Financial incentives (i.e. from an employer)? Wait times? The quality of care?

There’s an interesting article to check out on this subject here (https://www.wbur.org/commonhealth/2019/04/05/smartshopper-health-care-prices-harvard) which points out that cash incentives may be helpful, but may not be sufficient in many cases to offset other factors in making choices about healthcare.

gotta be in network as dictated by the cartelization of BigHeatlhCare.

got to find out which nearby ERs are in your network, or you could get with $10Ks of ER charges.

Even then, there could be "drive by" person in the ER or surgery who is out of network in you in network facility
