All the G Leaguers, college guys, overseas, unsigned FAs dying for an initial or 2nd chance NBA shot and this phuck extorts 16 this year and at the least 6 next.

Disgusting.

Remember how vanillas justified his contract and existence on the team but shit on him mercilessly just because he’s on another team? This fucker should had never worn a Spurs jersey once he snuffed us for the Bulls.

I hope his recovery from the surgery hurts, just enough to bother him, and the pain lasts for a whole year, right up to the day the Spurs don't owe him any more money.

If he can’t pass a physical next season we shouldn’t owe him a dime. Too bad that’s not how it works.

I'd pay him double that if it meant Pop didn't have the chance to give him minutes.

Let not forget, the only reason Poetl developed faster this year is because Pau got hurt and Pop was forced to play him.

I am not defending Pau , but at least be accurate . Spurs had MLE worth 5 million and I believe Bulls gave him 15 million or more. I would not call that a snub.

Keepin' it real

NO THEY'RE NOT!!!! No one ever leaves the Spurs and their medical staff and remains successful. Just look at the last two players that left the Spurs. Danny Greens 3pt % is still declining and Kawhi can't lead a team anywhere with his bad quad. OH wait.............

The guy is a hair healthier than a corpse.

I don't know about that honestly. You can depend on a corpse to be where it's supposed to be at all times. Pau ? Not so much.

Richard Jefferson and now Pau Gasol. Both washed up vets that were offered cap-crippling extensions by the Spurs who couldn't play out their contract in SA. Spurs will probably make the same mistake with Rudy Gay this summer, then Derozan the year after, etc. Spurs are a retirement home for these old fucks.

News. Portland waiving Gasol because he can't get his foot healthy. Might remain with team as a coach while he rehabs.

I don't see a team signing him until he is cleared to play. He played very little with Bucks and none at all with Blazers.

Sucks he can't get healthy.

Tbh, I don't know what the Bucks and the Blazers were thinking. It was obvious Pau was done after he broke his foot last season. He came back and his speed went from slow to slooooooooooooow.

Good run, Pau. Hall of Fame career. Retire before you break your foot again.
