The drug policy was a way for the league to take away western competition for the lakers. Totally annihilated the rockets and then took away the one player giving the lakers the most trouble- tarpley.

Hard to believe that players in the 80s living in LA didn’t have drug abuse issues. Magic partied so hard he contacted HIV. How can sex fueled parties not have drugs floating all around?

well a mystery of the season is now solved.

Everyone expected him to be a major contributor with the Pacers after the good season he had previously but he couldn't fit in with the team and suddendly he was thrown out of a practice for " behaviour detrimental to the team" and kept away from the team. It was most likely then he was found high.

I remember when OJ Mayo was banned it had been already two months that he had a mystery fall from the stairs and he was kept away "injured".
