Why isn't Kawhi sitting out the conference finals with his "injury" like he did with the Spurs (twice)?

He is in the top 5 current players. Name 5 better than Kawhi.

Been top 3 for 3 seasons albeit didn’t play 1. But who gives a shite if you don’t play. You can be top of the pile w/o playing. If him or KD decided to take next season off they’re still top 3 etc. let’s face it most of the East and espn only saw 20 min of him in 17’ on highlight show. Not saying Rachel didn’t know how good he was but at least half the country still thought he was matrix in Pop glorified system tbh.

Klay Thompson is still a much better offensive player though.

Nothing new here. I'm really starting to hate ESPN.

No he's not you little bitch. Klay is a mediocre playoff performer. Espicially against elite teams.

The joke to me is that he's downgraded, tbh. Are we talking best based on how the NBA handicaps with refs? Cos then I have to consider Durant and Lebron and maybe even Gianis better, tbh.

:lol Durant choking to these over-rated clowns and then running to join them. Maybe the biggest beta of all-time, tbh.

On a stacked team. You think Klay could carry a team to the Finals?

Its so rich that the ESPN sycophants use the terms honesty and commitment as it relates to #2. They certainly lack critical decision making skills if that is how they frame this guy. They then contradict themselves when they say they don't know what the injury is. This is a replay of 2017 and 2018. No different. Then they talk about what a great job the Raptors have done (training staff etc). This of course is a backhanded way of impugning the integrity of the Spurs front office and medical staff. Classy ESPN as usual.
And yet here we are again for the third year in a row wondering "is he OK?" "not sure what's going on" "will he shut it down".

I'm not sure #2 and his group have an honest bone in their collective bodies. I really don't.

Klay wouldn't get outplayed by Kyle Lowry.

In the East?

Funny how fucking weak the East was around here while James hit 8 straight Finals, till Kawhi went there and made the ECF at which point it became SEAL team North.

Not a word about Kawhi in two years. Suddenly, ass freshly wiped, along comes UTSA faggot and you, jerking off looking through the peephole.

Nah he's no higher than 5th. He missed every other game this season. You cannot rank him higher than guys who played every game and finished with a better record.

Imagine how closely Jerry West is watching Kawhi's wincing and limping in this playoff series...

It is really weird how everyone on all the ESPN shows/podcasts won't mention the word "quad" when Kawhi's obviously been reaching for it when he's in pain. They keep acting like it's a random leg injury with no history :lol

It's why I don't think he is faking it.
Why would he fake it with multiple millions on the line?
Looks good and the farther his team advances = more money.
The injury scare I would think would give pause to even very dense orgs.

Record is nice; but if the 87 Celtics had managed their stars the way Kawhi has been managed, they'd have won the championship that year and possibly two or three more on top of that. Kawhi has been the top performer in the playoffs, which is when it matters most. But if we are saying regular season is that important, then I don't know why Lebron is still in anyone's top five.
