that's the plan...considering the core intact means to re-sign Gay. (the 2 first round picks and the MLE player should take the 3 spots available of Pondexter, Cunningham and Montiejunas).
So the three will probably mean a sf, a pf and a big man.

The plan is to watch other teams implode and maybe sneak into a WCF if things break right in the next few years. We are done competing for a title once we lost Kawhi. Portland about to have Dame to $50 million a year. CP3 is untradeable at $43 million a year and is breaking down before our eyes. NO is losing AD. Kings still have Vlade running the show :lol OKC will remain a non-factor as long as Westbrook plays for stats. Denver is going to have to pay their players very very soon and they won’t be cheap. LOLkers have the worst owner/front office in the league with a shitty coach on top of it.

Really only the Warriors and the Clippers (once they get Kawhi) will be the threats to us in the future. If we can sneak in a good playoff matchup and make the WCF then I think you keep the core as is and trust in your player development. Lonnie, DJ, and Derrick should all improve. Patty can be moved for a pick next year. Marco/Bertans can be dumped somewhere. We just really need a SF. Like really fucking bad.

I hope Moore develops enough to become a real contributor. That would relieve a lot of pressure. To me that is a pretty key component of the Spurs' "internal development" plan. But I don't expect Milutinov to ever come over - except in the extremely unlikely event that LMA gets moved.
