If TD's healthy troughout the reg season -knocking on wood- and our other members of BIG Three are also relatively injury free, then i expect them to win between 64-68 games, if our added guns function rightfully, then matching -or even breaking- NBA record is within the scope of reality IMHO.......the key is BEING HEALTHY

Predicting the exact record was an amazing accomplishment....most of you guys were predicting 13-1 and 14-0 record...only I knew the exact record to be.

"63-19 Spurs record for wins in a season."

Bittersweet, since that probably won't be good enough for Finals HCA.

spursfaninla

bout, if Detroit faces some injuries (and they are due some, they have had none all year), their wins will slow down some.

Anyway, we can't expect superhuman performances out of a team in the long run. I don't think Detroit gets 65 wins, probably 62-64.

boutons_

Injuries are always a huge factor. eg, Tim hasn't made it through the post-Christmas period in the last 3 seasons without missing games .

I figure that BOTH the Pistons and the Spurs will lose games due to injured starters. Goes without saying, which is why I didn't say it.

That doesn't change the -3L hole the Spurs are in. The Ls to Hawks and Hornets will very probably be huge by April 19th.
