That is great that he is there and trying to be a good influence on his younger brother.

DJ is the future. He's a natural leader

I don’t care about this in the slightest. I hope he come back ready to shoot threes, 15 pounds heavier, and complement white.

I don't care what the Insta-haters say, DJ is a good kid and wants to be a great player and leader. I'm glad he is a Spur and am still expecting big things from him.

Being a great person is more important than being a great bball player and has nothing to do with being a very talented bball player. I believe in the person Murray but i'm very skeptical about his talent and future growth since for a guard he can't shoot for shit and most importantly he is coming back from a big injury. I hope he exceeds all expectations even those of his most loyal fans.

Him and White are only reason I still faintly care about Basketball.

A ton of people are quick to claim Murray can't "shoot for shit" based on his last full season, yet forget that in the small sample size in this year's preseason he was already demonstrating an improved mechanic and what appeared to be a legit medium to long range jumper.. With a year off what else is he going to do besides strengthen the ACL and work w/ Chip on his shot?

I can't give a fuck less about his edited highlight reels he puts on Instagram, I'm just putting my faith in Chip. He's proven his worth to the team several times over throughout the years.

We won't know until we know, but I agree that to base Murray's shooting ability off his previous seasons is unfair. We haven't really seen him on a court in a year, and in the entire meantime he has shown a focus on working on his jumper.

I would be significantly more surprised if it hasn't improved at this point, tbh.

:lol At you guys falling for it hook, line, and sinker. He did it for the million likes on instagram. The best PG on the team bought his dad a new car too he just doesn't have an instagram hype man filming him at all times.

I hope DM has a nice family, as long as it does not include an Uncle/starmaker. That does not work well based on past experience.

Good stuff OP.

This is what's missing lately with Spurs basketball. I mostly don't care about these guys because they just show up and play, or we bring in people like Demar or Aldridge and it doesn't feel organic like the big 3 did.

You cannot win a ring every year but it's nice to have a team worth supporting.

How do you know the PG bought his dad a car?

Also, the two aren't mutually exclusive.

What makes this more special than any other present given with true love? That the guy making the gift is a millionaire (and can afford gifting a car) or that it was posted on social media?
