they kicked my redskins ass all over the field today. I hope it was because they were playing on a high for their fallen owner and not because they suck.
Horry For 3!

Portis has been real inconsistant since he left Denver. You must resist the urge to go for a player who has a monster week, grasshopper. Look at the whole season before you pull the trigger on a trade.

Damn asshole screwed up my fantasy team!

Same.
On top of it, I could have started Plummer.

The Giants played inspired. Brunell, Portis, and Moss combined for a total of 2 fantasy points.
Damn, that sucked.

I've said it since Portis got traded to Washington that he wouldn't be half the player he was in Denver. That O-line made Portis a star.

Also should try not to help one of the top teams in our league.

I was hoping the Skins would have beaten the Giants, but that wasn't the case.

Yeah...I had Portis and Brunell starting on my fantasy team...you do the math. My kicker, Jay Feely, outscored them by like 15.

This has to be the first time in history that a team scores 50+ points one week and gets shut out the next.
The game being dedicated to Mara was a death knell to the Redskins....they ran into a team on a mission.

The Giants weren't on a 36-0 mission.
The Redskins and their mental weakness had more to do with that than anything.

The Giants are good. The Redskins are not. I'll be seeing the Giants play at Seattle on 11/27. Should be good.

i didn't see the game much to my dissappointment.
but i think it's good that the Redskins lost in such a convincing fashion.
i believe they needed to be humbled.
now? they are humbled. will they be focused and come together? or will they fall apart and revolt amongst themselves?
this is their TRUE TEST OF CHARACTER AS A TEAM.
I believe they will follow Joe Gibbs example.
I see a hard fought game vs the Eagles on Sunday Night.
I want a Redskins Win of course, but I am more than content to let the chips fall where they may as long as the Redskins leave it all on the field.
Run the Ball. Stop the Run.
My faith in Portis wavers. However, the Redskins have Rock Cartwright and I believe he is a champion. If Ladell Betts can be taught to hold onto the ball, he has what it takes as well. This weekend I went to the USC vs. Washington State game and Washington got blasted their as well...:lol
But the USC running back, Mr. White, is AWESOME. I want the Redskins to draft him and trade Portis for whatever...a LT, a QB, a DE, draft picks...but I know Portis signing bonus would be tough to swallow via the cap hit. oh well...I trust in Joe when it comes to the Redskins. The goal is still the playoffs, anyway, anyhow. I still believe I am looking at an 8-8 to 10-6 season with my Redskins. Go Redskins Go! :tu
BRING ON THE EAGLES! MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN!
if westbrook and mcnabb's running can both be stopped, then the Redskins will Win!!!
easier said than done, obviously.

White is probably a first rd pick, and since the 'Skins traded their first rd pick to my broncs, you probably won't have a shot at white.

That was crazy. I don't think the victory was a fluke but IMO, the margin of victory was. NY was really inspired.

Who would you favor between USC and Texas?
well tlong, i have not seen UT play yet.
i think from what I saw saturday that Reinart is overrated.
granted, he may have just been rusty,
but he forced passes into double coverage took to long to make reads, and his accuracy was off. a play that could have gone for 6 easy was only a big gain cuz he either didn't have the arm strength or he just simply underthrew his receiever. if Leinart is blitzed and bush is contained, AND most importantly IMO, their RB White is held in check, USC can be beat.
Washington State was the USC homecoming patsy. But they just couldn't get a 1st down to save their football lives. I think the coach is to blame. No consistant running game to speak of. No play action. No rollouts.
I can tell you that time after time after time, if the coach had just called a playaction rollout to the weakside, it would have gone for a big gain, well, at least a 1st down as i don't know how fast the Wash St. QB's wheels are...
BUT I DO KNOW THIS...
YOUNG WOULD HAVE HAD A FIELD DAY.
If the UT front 7 can blitz reinart and contain white?
If the UT secondary can contain, not stop, just contain Bush and Co.
Then the UT offense I think has enough to get the job done.
But i am ignorant of UT's players other than Young.
do they run the ball? can they pound the rock? how is their Oline?
their D? does it sound like they can get the job done?
USC's playmakers juke alot.
get them running side to side.
keep the weakside defenders at home.
hit Bush and Co in the mouf when they try to get fancy.
And USC can/will fold.
BUT, saying it is easier than doing it.
I will watch some UT football now and see what they can do.
I do believe that UT can get the job done though.
I do believe that UT can be the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.
IMO, their main weakness is the coach.
Carroll at USC is much stronger as a coach...but he may get too cocky.
That's where the USC weakness lies. :tu
