Danny Green had the most clutch play of the entire series, tbh.

And the spurs?

Kawhi doesn’t deserve full credit here.

The Spurs demise actually has more to do with an egotistical Poop and an incompetent RC Buffoon and their shit roster construction.

Spurs demise has to do with father time who is forever and 0. Tim was the success of the Spurs. Manu and Tony, as good as they were in their primes, couldn't hold a candle to how effective Tim Duncan was in his.

But don't count them out just yet. With this new power vacuum in the West, the Rockets not wanting to offer Mike D an extension, CP3 not getting love, the Warriors being Steph mostly next year (3rd RS MVP?), the Spurs have an opening if they can draft well and not screw the pooch by overplaying their hands with people like Patty and DeMar.

Ibaka's defense on Durant on his final play more pivotal, tbh.

Exactly. PATFO could have done a much better job at roster construction. They even got LMA and still failed. The Raptors in one year put together a team to beat the Warriors. They need to stop with the relying on players like Benneli/Mills that can even guard a chair.

Bullshit. The Raps scored a clear lane to the ring because Lebron was in the West, Durant was out for the series and Klay was injured. Spurs' same roster building style won a ring in 2014 and made b2b Finals appearances. Everyone is a front office oracle in the post season though.

LMA began the sad unraveling of the mighty Spurs. They guy's a loser - always was, & always will be.

He's a symptom of the downhill run of the Spurs, not a cause.
