4-1 now. Would they really be a 4-1 worth taking if AD signed?

If they manage to convince New Orleans to take their bag of crap for Davis I don't see why they wouldn't be favorites to win the conference with Durant + Thompson out for the season and CP0 and Harden at each other's throats. Unless the Clippers land Kawhi, then you'd have to give them the nod to win the conference. But the West isn't all that strong right now with Golden State looking like a low end playoff team at best. Denver, Utah, OKC, Portland, San Antonio, Clippers scare no one as the rosters stand today.

Nope.

These lines mean nothing. The books are just protecting themselves from the public LA $$.

Davis is gone he loses value by the minute

Lakers better find some way to get Beal without giving up the #4 to do the trade on draft day. Maybe they still get it done by then (and if they don't then kiss Davis goodbye until summer 2020), but sounds like Beal + #4 could get it done right now.

Maybe. But it's a league where two or three stars and the right pieces gets it done. I'm not counting out the Lakers before hand if they land AD.

I'd put a zero percent chance of that happening. That would be hoarding capspace for another year for Davis, and no way LeBron is letting that happen. He will never get another shot at a ring like he'll have next year with the Warriors decimated and the Rockets looking like shit with how much CP0 has fallen off. If Pelinka can't land Davis and Kawhi says no you can bet LeBron will tell Pelinka go get me Jimmy Butler and Kemba Walker and dump a couple of these young fucks who took me to the lottery to open up the space.

You think they can't land second tier guys like Walker, Butler, or Cousins?

In my opinion none of those guys are a) exciting acquisitions or b) putting us over the top

How much can Gs offer cousins
If healthy he can get 15-20 points a game
Gs is going to need scoring

LeBron will force Pelinka to sign guys like that. It's enough to be a contender in a year where the super team in Oakland is DOA.
