2014 is one of the greatest comeback beat-downs in NBA history, and it doesn't happen unless we lose '13. It sucks that we lost in '13 sure, but that shot wasn't the end of the series there was another game and we just couldn't get it done

This. TD went out in style just like DRob. The end of the dynasty and a great end at that.

Also this. Love love love the fact that we ended not only the hated 01-03 Lakers runs (also credit the Pistons there) / made Kobe cry, as well as absolutely smashed Mr. Self-proclaimed GOAT LeBron (again) in '14, and killed that bullshit Heatles team as well. All with team ball.

Never forget 6. It still hurts. Even though 5 did happen the next year, it doesn't ease the pain of the Morgul blade on Weathertop mountain, nor the excruciating scars from 6. The armoire in my room back home in SA is still permanently damaged because of 6, tbh, and my mom blames me for it because she can't sell it for $200 on craigslist because I did that.

2014 wouldn't have been as amazing without the agony of 2013 for me. My wife still mocks me for how pathetic I was after that loss. I gotta admit it was pretty fucking sad but that's what happens when you invest all your emotions in a game where millionaires throw a ball around.

2012, 2013, 2015, 2017; years that just deflate the dynasty as far as I'm concerned. But given that crap card we have now, most of us wish to go back to that.

2012 game 6 hurt me just as bad as 6. It was enraging to see the spurs first half lead and Stephen Jackson's heoric performance getting chipped away just so a narrative can be manufactured.

Lol, Parker not only guarded Lebron on the miss before, but then ran across the court to get a hand up on Allen because no one else on the court knew how to walk at that point (much less throw a pass or make a free throw). Parker easily wins FMVP if that shot doesn’t go in.

Spurs were down 28-6 in game 5 of 2014 before they exploded for an epic run, which included an iconic Manu dunk. That shit was exciting as fuck. I was there at the arena too.

I guess you missed Porker shooting 9/35 in games 6 and 7 tbh? :wakeup

Manu had 18 points in game 7 tbh...warrior per par. :wow

And let’s not forget Porker gave away the secret to how Danny Green was doing so well in games 1-5 and Danny Green short 1/12 from three in games 6 and 7 too.

The real perpetrator of 6 was Porker tbh.....always was as all real spurfan would know.

yeah right, no real NBA coach would figure out to guard Danny Green at the 3-point line when he just broke the finals record for 3s, unless Tony Parker tells them to do so:rollin

It sucks anyway tbh. They should've won 2012 to 2014.

Not only it would have been a 3peat, but LeBron would have left Miami ringless. That's incredible. Imagine the media reaction.

Seeing the Spurs be the better team in 2013 was a dream. So proud of that team until they choked so LeBron could brag.

That said, 2014 was amazing too. One of the most satisfying things I've ever seen.
