Shouldn't be aired anyways... It's a players family banquet similar to a senior brunch in HS.

Kawhi not getting MVP on a year where he played out of his mind and winning the championship.

Doubt he'll come this close again.

He didn't play enough games and as you know the voting is based on regular season performance, and playoffs are not factored in. He'll be a lead MVP candidate next season.

Harden deserved it. NBA marketing wins out though.

Agreed... Think Kawhi or Raptors give a fuck?!

What does the first bullet have to do with this, year's MVP?! The other two made sense... But what place he finishes in MVP voting is more legacy than an argument for winning this year...

I was okay with eiter guy.. Best player on best team by wins was Giannis... Harden had more impressive numbers but analytics such as per and defensive win shares and true shooting % favored Giannis... You can find plenty that favored Harden including highest scoring average since MJ.

BTW another reason to go back to old way announcing awards Harden could have tried to go Hakeem Olujawon after he lost... I doubt it would have worked but who knows?!

Don’t try to link Harden and Olajuwon. Please.

Between this and Morey bragging that their losing record against the Warriors was better than other teams' losing records against them, the Rockets have to be the most cringe team in the NBA at the moment.

:lol just watched an ESPN clip in which Ryan Hollins says the NBA got the MVP award wrong. It should've gone to Harden, he says, because what Harden accomplished last season was "literally impossible." I don't think he has a very firm grasp on what the words "literally" or "impossible" actually mean.
