I don’t see why Philly would max Tobias Harris out but let Jimmy go. Butler was much more important to their success and Harris was awful in the playoffs.

I don't think Butler wanted to be there. He just wants to get a max deal and go on vacation in April every year. Honestly it's probably what I would do in his shoes. The way the max salary is setup you don't really need to lead your team anywhere to get it. Busting his ass in April, May, and June won't get him paid any more but will get him injured more.

Eh, I'll take the other Marquette guy but Jimmy is a good guy to build around for a decent playoffs run (2nd round). Difference between a shitty org like the Knicks and a good one.

Harris is a high volume choker like DeRozan. These two are throwbacks to the late 90s/early 00s

I thought Butler was going to sign with a contender, tbh.

perhaps there is a chance: Miami and Philadelphia are determined to find a new third team to facilitate their Jimmy Butler sign-and-trade and ensure its completion, league sources say, after the apparent collapse of the teams' talks with Dallas
LOL Dallas... Doncic will be pissed cause they will tank again most likely.
