What the fuck is Philly doing. Lose Butler so you can get Horford? Philly has no backcourt anymore.

This is a solid move. Horford at PF helps Embid at C. I like this move. Boston needs a big now.

Yeah, Media the other day(s) trying to lure us into it. I cringe to even think we thought about it.

We must stand fast in the ranks now. Keep our heads. Put the blinders on, cross our fingers & toes & hope we're delivered. I'm mentally exhausted, even after I napped! I'm just beside myself.

if jimmy really just wanted out of philly, then all things considered they've done well for themselves. lifted horford off the celtics, who are their main competition in the east if kawhi leaves. bucks got weaker. they just need to replace redick with a shooter. maybe danny green...

It's really $97 million, with $12 million in bonuses for championships :lol

My issue with this is it's essentially Harris over Butler (Harris cant defend 3's on a full time basis), but if Butler wanted out getting Josh Richardson is very nice, he's an upgrade over JJ Reddick.

Don't know about that chief.

Yeah I’m changing my mind on them losing Butler. It sounds like he wanted out and it wasn’t going to work.

Reddick is terrible on defense & not so hot in the playoffs. Definitely an upgrade at the 2 guard with Richardson.

Butler was a few seconds away from going to the conference finals and now he wants to start over in Miami? I don't get that.

Not to mention Horford was probably the guy who gave Embiid the most trouble tbh

as baseline bum said, butler doesn't like having to work in the month of may. he just wants to get buckets in the regular season then vacation in miami

Horford isn't what he was in '17-'18, Embiid destroyed him during their last meeting: (Giannis also figured him out in the postseason)

Yeah, totally retarded.

Simmons, Richardson, Harris, Horford, Embiid - seems like a legit starting five to me with three role players who are decent defenders and and shooters to space out for the other two stars.

It really falls down to how much Simmons and Embiid can develop. Ben needs to shoot, plain and simple. Embiid needs to get his conditioning in check. If he can play 40 mpg in the playoffs, he can lead a well balanced team deep in the playoffs.

That starting 5 just seems too slow and unathletic. I see Giannis chewing them up like a dead prostitute in a wood chipper.

Tough to build a LEGIT contender on Ben Simmon's jumper & Embiid's conditioning.

Put Horford on Bledsoe & dare him to shoot. The Bucks can't bench him b/c Brogdon is gone. Giannis will essentially be doubled by Simmons/Horford.

True, but if that is the case it will always be their stars letting them down instead of their role players. If your stars aren't good enough, than really that puts a limit to how much you can achieve, unless some miraculous trade falls on your lap and some "super-team" can be created.

If Simmons and Embiid become their max salary slots in the payroll, they have to deliver like elite stars in order for the Sixers to win, simple as.

We literally replaced Redick with a far more athletic player?

You got more to worry about. Lost your 2 best players and first three off the bench. Window well and truly shut.
