I don't know if the guy has it in him to be a good coach but he should know the system by now.

Ledbetter reminds me of an aging (but very proud) surfer dude. He's always looking for the next wave, fearing that the real world might be lurking out there. The life guard at the beach, a bit too old to be doing it (as his friends and family keep reminding him).

I'm a Summer League junkie and Ledbetter is one of those constants you can always count on.

Just like for the Spurs it’s good to have vets I think it’s an excellent idea to keep a high character smart player around. To me he all ready is a players coach I think he makes the transition for new kids a lot more easier having someone who knows the system and what the Spurs are looking in player development

I agree. A loyalty and hustle bonus so he can tell his grandchildren I once played on the great San Antonio Spurs when they were on their epic run of playoff appearances. Maybe he could then be the legendary coach for the Austin Spurs

Can you get it through your thick fucking head that neither Ledbetter nor Farrell are NBA players, and that neither were ever going to suit up even one game in SA? Both of these moves were designed to improve last year’s horrible PG play in Austin. You need better PG play to develop the youngsters, and that December exhibit 10 bonus should keep Ledbetter here, instead of bolting overseas like he did last year.
