Mavericks swingman Marquis Daniels may see an increase in playing time due to injuries to guards Jerry Stackhouse and Doug Christie. Stackhouse has been sidelined by a sore knee and is doubtful for the regular season opener. Christie told the Dallas Morning News that he still doesn't have the explosion he wants with his left ankle and coach Avery Johnson said the guard will operate on a minutes restriction for the first part of the season, probably no more than 25 minutes per game.

Daniels has been a trendy sleeper pick in fantasy leagues for a couple years and it's safe to say the fantasy crowd would be ecstatic to see him succeed. If you spent a late round pick on him this could be a great week to start him.
