They would have been better to reach out to D'angelo Russell before he went to the Warriors. With the salaries today and everyone wanting to get the maximum, building a super team is team is very difficult so you they have to find a diamond in the Ruff, Unfortunately they traded all their options away for that. Durant also never goes to Golden State if Oklahoma City is able to offer significantly more money rather than simply 1 more on year on a max deal that KD was going to opt out of either way.

You can have 3 high salary guys but you cannot have 5 of them. So you have to have complimentary players and these guys are getting paid as well these days. Danny Green just signed for 15m a year.
