Do we actually have it? Do we actually need it? If we do, is there anyone out there we can afford to sign that would have a decent impact?

Metu is the new third string C, tbh.

Aldridge, Poeltl, Metu.

Thomas Robinson could replace Metu if the Spurs are ready to write Metu off.

This. LMA, Poetl, and Eubanks is more than enough.

unless something drastic happens Derrick White is starting. And if Derrick White starts poodle can’t start. Spurs have over 50 million invested in gay carrol and Morris. There gonna play. I believe it’s murray-white-dd- Morris -la with Forbes walker carrol gay and poodle coming off the bench

I'm all for acquiring a 3rd Center. I don't think Metu is an NBA player

How about this,

Forbes (1Y, 2.8M) + Belinelli (1Y, 5.8M) -> Memphis
Dwight Howard (1Y, 5.6M) + Dillon Brooks (2Y, 1.6M) -> SA

I feel like this would be a really good trade.

For what it's worth, I tried using the new-look Spurs on 2K just now and they simply got abused on the boards.

We already have LA/Poeltl/Eubanks. We're fine.

You know Dwight is a retard and will be waived.

Too many geeky white boys, tbh. Poetl is cool but fuck Eubanks, tbh.

Oh they did? I thought the Grizzlies are still planning to trade/waive him. My bad :P
Any source about DH being waived?

Well I think the Grizzlies need some shooters in their squad, and they already have some young BIGs like Valanciunas, Clarke, JJJ and Rabb, so Dwight is likely to be waived.
If the Grizzlies wants to get some shooters with trading Dwight, we would be a great partner for them.

No money for him, and he’s not all that great. Besides the center position is about extinct. No need to waste roster space on it.

He’ll be available mid season. No money other than minimum but if they’re top 4 I could see him wanting to come back.

Spurs need to sign a defensive minded C for the vet min for depth purposes. An injury to either LA or Poeltl and we become rakitic at that position.

Maybe they have faith in Eubanks... he hasn’t shown well in summer league

agree...imho the Metu spot, if he doesn't show something in the next days (he's injured) is available for such players...candidates? if effectively able to play one could be Mozgov, another, if cut and able to play, Howard...both are gonna be ok with the minimum for veterans eith many years of experience, considering they are already gonna be paid big money from some other team that cut them.

...other names : T. Chndler, Monroe, Bogut, Montjejunas, D. Bender (my favourite), M. Chriss, Delgado, Diallo, Ellenson, Faried, P. Gasol (maybe the most logical choice, considering he already knows the system and we are already paying him), Amir Johnson, K. Koufos, Mejri, Motley, Nenč, Noah, Pachoulia (not probable), A. Williams, T. Zeller...most of them are probably, as of now, better than what we actually have in that role (Metu)...

I hope Metu has improved, because Eubanks cannot, I repeat, cannot guard bigs, and that was summer league. I had high hopes for Eubanks last year. But watching him got killed by Reed and McGree/Bamba the last two games was not a pretty sight.

also Bolden in the first game against Cleveland has taken advantage of him...Eubanks could become a liability against heavy big men...that's why he could be seen more in his actual two way player role...

The best defender, even at his current age of that group is Chandler. I could see him filling that 3rd string center and bringing him in when you want some nasty like we did with Kevin Willis.

Non issue in the new NBA. The preference are mobile centers that don't get abused by 3 point shooting guards.

I guess it’s a mirage then getting dunk on. Lakers signed McGee/Boggie on top of LeBron and Davis. I’m sure they will plow through Poeltl/Eubanks without much imagination :lol:lol
