Best Day since 5?

since 2014 the spurs have been dramatically above average and not much more. Today saw San Antonio Vindicated in their treatment of Kawhi and saw the Lakers humbled just as it seemed they'd get out of their shit streak. Then we got Morris. All in all a nice day.

But does it eclipse other highlights like Kawhi DPOY #1, LMA signing, losing Gasol, beating Harden, or some other date?

SpursTalk has never been as exstatic over an offseason as they were when LMA signed. This doesn't even come close. People were counting how many ships the Spurs were going to win in the next several years. But there really have been a lot of dark days since then, so this is better than that. If the Spurs had made an announcement today that Mills was arrested for soliciting a minor, and they were going to be able to get out of the rest of his shit contract on a morals clause, then it would start to come closer to that offseason.

I don't even understand comparing it to Kawhi's DPOY. I guess player fans carry that around as one of their best days ever? It was good for Kawhi to be recognized, but that's as far as it went for me.
