At least some House Republicans have threatened to torpedo Trump’s deal.

Rep. Mark Walker, R-N.C., a member of the House Republican leadership who tweeted out a gif of the Joker burning a giant pile of cash, complained, “Our credit card is maxed out.”

“There will be a large number of conservatives in the House who will not be able to vote for the deal, if these are indeed the terms,”

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, normally a hardcore Trump loyalst, drafted (https://www.politico.com/story/2019/07/22/gop-budget-deal-trump-1425878) a letter urging the president to “veto this bill because it is fiscally irresponsible.”
