In the summer before he faked his injury? It’s all coming together now. They didn’t. He pouted and faked and hid and made up some shit about a diagnosis and team meeting only to drag the spurs through the mud. Duck this bitch made fool.

Its during the same time we heard rumbling of Lamarcus not being happy.

Trading Aldridge for George would have been an absolute win. Even if Kawhi eventually left.

People forget, that LA was really struggling back then and did not play until AFTER Kawhi sat out, and his complaining about his touches did not help his case. Not many teams were eager to take him. PATFO couldn't get a decent first round pick for him, let alone Paul George.

Why did the Spurs trade Paul George? :cry

None because there's no way the Pacers will make a trade anytime soon with the Spurs considering what happened last 2011.

Aldridge had no trade value at the time and no way Indiana wanted an old guy.

LA would obviously have had to been the centerpiece in a deal for PG so that's the problem right there. Indy probably knew they could get a better offer. And spurs weren't gonna trade 5 years of first rounders for him
