Until a few days ago when I thought of El Paso it was that Marty Robbins song, that Texas Western/UTEP basketball team that won the NCAA (movie) Bob Beamon (Texas Western) who stunned the world at the 68 Olympics with his outerwordly 29 foot long jump (nobody had ever jumped 28 before) and all those sprinters we have seen on that UTEP track team, mostly foreign talent. places like Attiles, Barbados, Nigeria, Sweden, Jamaica.

Now we have this tragedy, which is mind boggling actually. Very sad situation. When will somebody tell it like it really is when it comes to AK type weapons? I keep waiting to hear,......you don't need to aim with these weapons you just spray. Why these guns are still being sold is crazy, who needs a gun like that, yep, the Army, the Police, that's it. If I owned one of those guns what would I do with it, what go mow down some critters? Wow, what fun.

I confess not a fan of the Mexican situation here in Cali, it really is bad. So many jobs that require you speak Spanish, all those Spanish speaking TV and radio stations. You go to the courthouse any day of the week and on todays dockett you will see..... Garcia, Gomez, Gonzalez etc, with the once in awhile Jones and Smith. I do believe most white people are frustrated with the situation. BUT.......you don't kill anyone because you are frustrated.

Why have weapons a state situation at all? Make it a federal offense to own one of those weapons only the military/law should have access to.

What does a guy actually do with an assault weapon, they aren't for Joe Public.

Where is a bazzoka, a tank? Why not drive a tank around?

The government needs to buy them back, and pass a law where they are illegal to own. Anyone found with one....three years in prison.
