Oh great.
They will refuse help from countries who have superior technology so their resources will be squandered.
They will use government entities that don’t know wtf they are doing, realize it, and then the corruption runs rampant.
If Argentina has oil they will attempt to suck it out of the ground using straws.

The rich in Argentina are not only brutal towards the poor but they are absolutely incompetent. It's time for a good revolution there and heads of the billionaires need to roll.

Anything short of a French violent revolution where they loot the palaces is garbage. Go for the gold nigas. :tu

The Kirchners were 12 years in power with all the geniuses predicting an implosion that never happened. Macri got his hands on the country and fucked things up in less than 4 years. But somehow him losing and the Kirchners getting back is a bad thing. Brain washed dumbasses. :lol

There's a reason they were chosen to get back by such a devastating margin, tbh. The people realized what they had once they lost it, tbh.

Dude.

I'm legit asking, tbh. Yeah, some media and corrupt judges tried to sell that story, they have yet to prove anything. Macri was involved in the International scandal of the Panama Papers before getting elected back in 2015 and the biggest networks here swept that shit under the rug. :lol

And regardless of that, people voted thinking about the economy.

In 2003 when the Kirchners got elected 5 % of the population was upper class, 45% was middle class and 50% was poor.

In 2015, after 12 years of "Kirchnerismo", 5,5% of the population was upper class, 78% was middle class and 16,5% was poor.

Macri, and his liberal policies, brought poverty back up to 45% in less than 4 years, with 49% of middle class and 6% of Upper class.

That was just too much of a fuck up for media to cover up (not that they didn't try, tbh), that's why we got the results we got.

Despite the massive corruption and fascism that embodied Cristina's government (but not her dead husband though, it's proper to point it out), middle class and poor people are tired to being asked to always do sacrifices while the rich get richer, something that has happened for a number of generations now in Argentina.

The "team of CEOs" was supposed to put forth seriousness, top management experience, stop inflation, leverage the trust of the capitalist world to lift the country from poverty, "trickle down", and none of that happened. Poverty increased, middle class shrunk, inflation is out of control, the country fell again into massive debt obligations with the IMF, anybody with any semblance of capital has been flying it out of the country to greener pastures.

It was a great opportunity to do things right and break the hegemony of Peronism, and they completely blew it. They rightly got their asses handed to them. And the country I know and love continues it's erratic cycle of going nowhere, and falling for the same trap over and over again. Pretty sad story, tbh.

This kind of economic/financial terrorism is nothing new in South America, sadly, but it's usually the sign that people are choosing what's best for most of the population between the options that are given to them. Hopefully you get to bounce back from all the damage the neoliberals leeches have done to the country. Because over here I'm losing all the hope tbh.

Too many politically ignorant people who have been brainwashed by the media and right wing propaganda for years and are scared of the "communist threat". They dont give a shit about the means that were used to put him there, as long as hes there they're happy.

You have to be pragmatic in countries like Argentina. You can't just leave everything to chance and hope that the market will fix itself out. That's not how things work down here.

If you don't intervene, vultures just come to take away all the dollars out of the country. It always works the same way:

-Government gives all the freedom in the World for "investors" to come and go as they please. These investors put, let's say, 10 dollars in the country. After a very short period of time, which isn't enough to put that capital to work, these investors take their money plus their "interests" or "earnings", let's say 10 dollars over the 10 they had invested. So, now, Argentina is 10 dollars short of what they had before this investor came. Where do those dollars come from? From "investments" put by other people, who will also leave in short time with double the money they came in with. And the cycle goes on untill the hole becomes too deep to climb out of, and all shit breaks lose.

There's no real external investment in countries like Argentina. That's why the best thing to do is to apply policies that promote internal production. The only way to do that is with strong government involvement.
