It looks like Dems are gonna repeat their 2016 error

DNC supported Hillary because she was one of them, actually the leader of the Dem establishment, "it was her (woman's) turn", and screwed Bernie

DNC is supporting Biden because he is one of the Dem establishment, with the DNC very probably already deciding Biden is their nominee, which means the DNC will try to destroy any challenger.

DNC has already told companies that any of them working for a incumbent will be blackballed by the DNC financial support.

I read a great article that said the Dem establishment would rather lose to Trash again (which would preserve the Dem establishment whose priority is self-preservation (aak fuck the county) with a Dem establishment candidate (Biden) rather than win with a progressive candidate (which would destroy the Dem establishment).

There is also a DNC dark strategy to marginalize, undercut The Squad and any truly progressive Dem seatholders.

Biden is clearly done, too many gaffes, clear mental decline, no fire, no focus, he's simply play-acting, going through the motions, like a candidate and life-long loser Pres candidate with a long conventionally racist, BigCorp, misogynist history, expecting the DNC to hand him the nomination.

Any credible Dem candidate would win in wave of "anybody but Trash and the Repugs", very much like 2008 wave against Repugs and their fucking losing wars of choice and letting 9/11 happen.

But, Media ain't gonna repeat their same error. That's why they aren't reckoning with Biden's mental pathology. No way they touch that. Media didn't go to all the trouble with Biden & his people to time elapse expose him for that touching women thingy, thus getting it off the American screens just to roust him for being old & white. No way.

Sure, it will cost them 10 years in delay to implement real change, (to shrill women---to real black men, not fakers like Hussein), but, they ain't standing by & watching the old man not only get 4 more years, but, bypass that SDNY statute of limitations in the bargain. No way, Jose'.

It’s that, plus age. There should be a rule that nobody over 75 can run for president. If you’ve ever known anybody and seen the difference in a person at the age of 71, say versus the age of 76. There’s always a very noticeable decline. Age really kicks in around that time, he’s entering the geriatric phase. Basically, he’s taking naps after lunch and falling asleep in his arm chair age. Not really good for someone who wants to be president.

Donald still has energy. I’d say around his second term you’ll start seeing that from him as well. Especially if he continues to eat terrible fast food.

Harris had her chance, but, setting up Biden like that was a 1 night hit that she has had to answer for every day since. Serves her right. I just hope like hell she doesn't swallow her famous black/Indian pride & sign on as his VP. I don't know if we can make it then.

He's the only one who can beat the old man, Winester. Media will not let him fall away,,,"With jacks and timbers they started back down." That's what Media will do for him. That's why they took care of his touching women fiasco back at the beginning. That wasn't by accident I assure you, son. They did the same thing for old man Bush when the doctor's said he was not long for this world. Media put his habit of goosing women from the fresh angle of sitting in the wheelchair on the front page and burned it at the stake, clearing the sceens. Then when he actually died they could fawn all over him without the (goose) news getting in the way.

See how that works, kid? God, you're a tender little babe. You don't shit from apple butter.

Get Ready for More of This (Annals of False Equivalency)

The issue is that, as the Post explains,

Biden over time seems to have conflated this with two or three other stories with similar themes of selfless heroism.

Biden was there in Afghanistan when Foltz’s commander, not Biden, pinned a Bronze Star on him.

So in different versions the hero is of different ages and rank, even different services.

One time Biden told the story he put the incident in Iraq rather than Afghanistan.

On its own it’s a fascinating bit of reporting putting this all together.

But the obvious gist of the piece is that

Biden, like Trump, has a lying problem

and we have to ask whether he’ll be held to the same standard.

The authors note that while Biden claimed in one retelling that

he’d been “in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq over 30 times.”

his campaign confirmed to the Post that he’d actually only been there 21 times. Zing!

The Post reporters lay out the stakes like this:

“One big question facing candidates and voters more than 30 years later is

whether President Trump’s routine falsehoods have changed the standards

by which other presidential aspirants,

including Biden, should be judged.”

And the stories are not self-aggrandizing.

They’re about other people’s bravery and suffering which, as this article in The New Republicargued earlier this year (https://newrepublic.com/article/153910/joe-biden-audacity-grief), is the touchstone of Biden’s whole public career.

But to me this isn’t remotely like anything Trump does.

Trump is a degenerate malicious liar who does not so much lie as

he has a total indifference to the very concept of truth and

makes things up routinely to get his own way and degrade his enemies.

What interested me was that Biden was unapologetic.

His actual key quote is this:

“I was making the point how courageous these people are,

how incredible they are,

this generation of warriors, these fallen angels we’ve lost.

I don’t know what the problem is.

What is it that I said wrong?”

I’m curious what you make of it.
