If President Trump goes down in impeachment and is damaged politically that Republicans drop him, does former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie get seen as a potential 2020 GOP replacement?

won't happen, Senate will never remove him from office, he'll emerge the late 90s Clinton hero 2.0 and get re-elected. Non issue

GOP being finished as a party been the story line as long as I can remember. Reality has actually been trending the opposite.

Hard to believe 2020 could come down to Warren/Trump. Our political system is massively fucked up if that's the best we can do.

Or when people say the two party system is coming to an end soon.

Oddly enough I see more people from the right saying the "far left" taking over will lead to one party system or whatever. I think each factions give credit to the opposition a little too much.

Who would you like?

Someone like a Ben Sasse or even a Greg Abbott

Trump is probably finished, I don't think he can win back WI, PA, MI.

what part of "mentality" don't yall get? i've stated it over and over again but not in my last reply because i didn't think i needed to but i see i was wrong.

i don't care how physically strong someone is when their mentality is weak as their convictions are.

So as long as someone is stubborn as hell and never admits they are wrong, then they are strong in their convictions and OK by you?
Is this correct teacher?
