No, but the optimism is commendable.

no way. I said if we had Marcus Morris I'd give this team a slight chance to surprise. With DeRozan Shooting 3s, LMA and Rudy producing like last season and Murray, White, Poeltl and Walker taking another leap this team has a chance to make a run if everything goes right. But we now have a hole at our starting PF position which is especially bad going against the 2 LA teams which are loaded at the forward positions. We're missing that one extra defender to throw at LeGM and nephew.

I guess DJ is our Pascal Siakam. I still believe he's a 20-7 guy, I still believe he can improve that much to deserve MIP this season.

A title? Who knows but I would bet all my money on Murray helping the Spurs to win many playoffs games.

We don't shoot threes, have no starting caliber sf, a huge hole at pf, undersized guards, a coach that plays his favorites as the first guys off the bench when they arguably should be out of the league, and our best players are chokers.

What do you think?

No. The second teams send hard doubles on the touch to LMA it's over since he is quite arguably the worse passing big of all time

the question should be about getting into PO not winning chip.
But my answer would be still „no”

Not likely. Not outside the realm of possibility.

Probably not. Will be a fun team to watch regardless

To many holes and redundancy on what we do have to be considered a legit contender

All the stars must align but I believe!

-DJ becomes an all star and a 1st all nba defensive defender.
-DDR hits more than 80 3's all year and shoots it at a 38%+ rate while keeping his midrange/inside game efficient.
-Aldridge focuses more on rebounding and defense this year and has career years in both those categories
-Forbes shoots lights out all year.
-White plays just as good as last year if not better.
-Walker surpasses Marco on the rotation because of great play.
-No major lengthy injuries

If all these happen, top 3 seed guaranteed. Then in playoffs, kawhi and anthony davis are both out due to injury. Or they rush back but don't play the same. Leaving the door wide open.

2nd round or bust, tbh.

A first round appearance is the ceiling for this team. Maybe higher if DeRozan gets shipped out

I guess blind faith is a kind of loyalty, but I don’t see how anybody who lived through the ‘00s and early ‘10s, seeing year in and year out what a championship-caliber team looks like, could think this assemblage bears even a passing resemblance, other than that the uniforms look almost the same.

Imagine how far this team could go if the money fuckhead (derozan) makes were freed up
