Yeah, but that's Monday morning quarterbacking. Signing Morris would have been a strong move. It's not PATFO's fault the NBA's system is broken, or that the Knicks continued to negotiate with him after he committed to the Spurs, or that he reneged. You can't decide to crawl into your shell, out of fear that a player will renege.
