KD is in classic case of body stereotype prevailing over output. He's still one of the all time great offensive players in the league but lets study his actully shooting output

From 10-16 FT

His career % is 45%.

Kawhi is at 47%

But lets look at his seasons before Golden State when defenses would double team him ala Giannis (who outside of Curry is probably the most gameplanned offensive player)

His midrange % was under 44%.

Still one of the all time great scorer.

Lebron who for years have been ridiculed for his lack of shooting and wrongfully given the narrative hes only good cause he can drive to the rim is actually shooting right around Durants average pre Golden State around 43% in the last 4 years although he did start his career slow and is a career 38% shooter in the midrange

Beta might very be the most overrated player in the history of the NBA thanks to Golden State allpwing him to go one on one for three straight years

There was so many games I remember watching during the playoff runs and KD would always be extremely cautious with his selection. I noticed he would pass in the last seconds and not take any half court shots to be the buzzard. Dude wanted that 50/40/90 bad or whatever the hell it is lol. GS made it extremely easy for him to average such a high %. We’ll see if Brooklyn is the same. Lavert, spencer, and especially Kyrie hoggin ass all need the ball. Let’s see if it works this time

Laughable to thing James better shooter or scorer than Durant - he may be a better player but not scorer
