Cuban likes to mock the NBA and this was just his way of doing it. The dress code doesn't apply to him so he didn't have to wear it but he just wants to get a point across even if he looks like a dumbass while doing it. For that matter, looking like a dumbass helps illustrate the point.

Cuban receives jacket

In response to the NBA's new dress code, Mark Cuban was wearing a unique sports jacket Friday that he received from a fan.

The jacket had the word "Mavs" on one pocket in team colors, Dirk Nowitzki's No. 41 on the other pocket and Nowitzki's name and number on the back. Also on the back: mavgear.com.

"I can fix the jacket color," Cuban said. "But it's got potential."
