I am not sure either has. I have Kobe as a borderline top-10 player of all time right now and KD was on his way to about the same level, but I am not sure where his injury leaves him.

Curry is somewhere in the top 15-20 range, maybe a little less.

The intresting one is and has been Kawhi. Though his regular season numbers are not historically great, his postseason accomplishments give him a clear top-10 CV, and another ring and MVP would probably put him in top 8 level, with Duncan, Shaq, Bird, Magic but probably a bit less than MJ, Kareem, LBJ.

Though both are severely overrated, they have a long way to go to match the GOAT Kobe.

Curry won two MVPs, a championship+Finals MVP, and led a team that set the single season wins record. Nothing else though

Kobe fans are so fucking crazy so they won’t let either pass him lmao curry will never pass him. KD can’t after that pussy move he pulled. Duncan, Lebron, Shaq, I understand how they passed Kobe but these two dudes naw .

Prime Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, & Ron Artest and a young healthy Andrew Bynum are pretty damned good support... It's not like he did it alone, and Pau's BPM, VORP, and Win Shares were all higher than Kobe's...

Ron Artest wasn’t on the Lakers in 2008, and Andrew Bynum didn’t play in the 2008 playoffs. And those advanced stats for Kobe were all higher than Pau’s in that 2008 post season in which the Lakers played the Spurs in a series. Kobe didn’t play in the 2013 Spurs sweep of the Lakers. That’s what he was referring to.

29.5 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 3.8 APG, 53.3% FG against the Spurs that series.

KD is too bitchmade, tbh, but Curry was dominating fools in that 73-win season... something Kobe could never do...

Lmao. Dominating by shooting 15 open 3s a game while the team would set illegal screens every play for him and klay would defend the best guard?

They didn't. When my man Kobe got injured he sucked it up and sank both free throws before walking off court by his own willpower. Durant cried, sank no free throws, and had to be carried off.

Curry was straight up dominant that season. He was raping teams like the Kobester in Colorado.

There was no #2 there either. Klay was young, Iggy was a perennial loser coming off the bench, broken down Bogut was the anchor. They made a historical run...

The closest Kobe season would need to be the ones he got carried by Shaq, tbh...

KD has beaten the shit out of the Spurs too. 2012, 2016, 2017 and 2018. 2012 and 2016 was before he teamed up with Curry

MVPau was garbage in that WCF. No Ron Artest or Andrew Bynum in that series.
